HIT Training – Extensive industry experience means that we understand the needs of both business and learner

HIT was founded by a small group of directors who successfully established and developed ‘Hospitality Plus’, which became the major training provider for the hospitality and leisure industries prior to its sale. Like our trainers and assessors, everyone – and we do mean everyone – has worked in the industry, gaining valuable experience and understanding of what learners and employers need from both perspectives. We really can put you first! HIT has supported over 10,000 learners at over 3,000 employer sites across the country.

Our aims are simple: to help employers increase the effectiveness and profitability of their staff, to develop learners’ personal, economic and social status and to enhance the level of service given to their customers and clients. This is reflected in the success of our learners and the quantifiable improvements and benefits for their employers.

Meet Shelley one of our Trainer Assessor/verifiers. Shelley has been working in the hospitality sector since leaving school. She decided from the outset that in order to progress she would work & undertake NVQ qualifications. Having achieved a range of NVQ's at levels 2 & 3, when the chance came along to become an NVQ assessor, she jumped at the opportunity.

Shelley says "A lot of people are under the illusion that NVQ's are pointless & just a piece of paper. This is not true – trust me! I'm proof that they can & do open up a variety of doors – Now I am an internal verifier!"

Nationally focussed, our teams of award–winning trainers and assessors are based throughout England and we have links with other training providers in the rest of the UK.
